I just can't get enough of Ina Garten.  I got really hooked on her show in 2007 and it's gotten pretty creepy since then.  At first I was just watching the show with corresponding cookbook in hand taking notes on her technique.  Now I watch the show online and take print screens to try an identify certain brands she's using.  There is a lot of deceptive marketing out there to make labels look high end or imported, don't be fooled!  Let Ina do the research for you!
I need a "good" champagne vinegar and hope to find this one in my local specialty food store.

Calvados and apricot jam for the french apple tart I am dying to try.

I thought I would share a favorite recipe for buttermilk ranch dressing.  If you're still using bottled dressing your life is not complete!!  I recommend California olive oil (if only I could afford Olio Santo), Fage greek yogurt, and Duke's mayonnaise.

We are trying to make the most of Spring veggies in our home....a homemade dressing makes all the difference!

Here is my all time favorite!
