On our drive down to the beaches of Rockport, Texas this weekend I saw so many beautiful flags.  Some towering over highways, others blooming alongside potted plants on front porches.  I have so much pride in our country, and Memorial Day is a poignant reminder that freedom isn't free.  So many brave men and women have laid down their lives to protect our way of life.  I hope their sacrifice is always remembered and honored.  God bless America!
